Job Description: Corporate Tax Manager
About the Role
We’re seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our Corporate Tax Team in Bristol. This role focuses on providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base, including OMBs, SMEs, and larger corporates.
Under your stewardship, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of clients while supervising junior colleagues
- Support Directors/Partners in client matters and operational management
- Lead or contribute to special assignments and high-impact advisory projects

Responsibilities
As Corporate Tax Manager, your primary responsibilities include:
- Client portfolio management for businesses of all sizes, from OMBs to large corporates
- Compliance, provisioning, and advisory services covering:
- International tax matters
- Corporate transactions
- Due diligence engagements
- R&D tax relief
- Employment tax compliance
- Delivering exceptional client service, nurturing relationships, and identifying upsell opportunities
- Leading cross-finance activities to enhance client offerings
- Developing and mentoringJunior members of the team through delegation and hands-on training
- Conducting performance appraisals, monitoring staff progress, and fulfilling Line Manager duties
Qualifications & Experience
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or Tax Specialist (CTA)
- Proven corporate tax experience within the profession or industry
- Ability to handle complex tax advisory work with technical expertise
- Demonstrated people management and client relationship skills
- Potential to develop business growth strategies
