Corporate Tax Manager – Confidential Professional Services Firm
Location: Flexible
Type: Full-time
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000
A leading UK advisory firm with an international network is looking to strengthen its Corporate Tax team with the appointment of a Corporate Tax Manager. The firm delivers a full range of audit, tax, and advisory services, working with complex and fast-growing businesses across multiple sectors.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients across a range of sectors
- Overseeing compliance work, including review of corporation tax returns and computations
- Supporting advisory projects such as restructures, acquisitions, disposals, and tax planning
- Working with audit and accounts teams to ensure timely delivery of work
- Managing deadlines, workflow, and resource allocation
- Reviewing tax provisions and supporting tax accounting requirements
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Monitoring WIP, billing, and overall portfolio performance
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Advisory & Project Work
- Tax due diligence and transaction support
- Technical research and resolution of complex tax issues
- Business development support and proposal work
- Internal training and knowledge sharing
About You
- ACA / CA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong corporate tax experience within practice
- Solid technical knowledge across a broad range of corporate tax matters
- Experience reviewing tax computations and managing client portfolios
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
- Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with tax software (e.g. Alphatax, CCH) advantageous
