Corporate Tax Manager – Confidential Professional Services Firm

Location: Flexible
Type: Full-time
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000

A leading UK advisory firm with an international network is looking to strengthen its Corporate Tax team with the appointment of a Corporate Tax Manager. The firm delivers a full range of audit, tax, and advisory services, working with complex and fast-growing businesses across multiple sectors.

The Role

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients across a range of sectors
  • Overseeing compliance work, including review of corporation tax returns and computations
  • Supporting advisory projects such as restructures, acquisitions, disposals, and tax planning
  • Working with audit and accounts teams to ensure timely delivery of work
  • Managing deadlines, workflow, and resource allocation
  • Reviewing tax provisions and supporting tax accounting requirements
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Monitoring WIP, billing, and overall portfolio performance
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Advisory & Project Work

  • Tax due diligence and transaction support
  • Technical research and resolution of complex tax issues
  • Business development support and proposal work
  • Internal training and knowledge sharing

About You

  • ACA / CA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong corporate tax experience within practice
  • Solid technical knowledge across a broad range of corporate tax matters
  • Experience reviewing tax computations and managing client portfolios
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience with tax software (e.g. Alphatax, CCH) advantageous
