We are a team of highly skilled and passionate professionals, who are empowered to achieve their career aspirations, as we continue to build our business.Job DescriptionWhat will you be doing?We're seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate tax team in Bristol, which is responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of business clients. The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients and managing more junior members of staff as necessary. You will also provide assistance to Directors/Partners in both client work and in the management of the group and you will actively be involved in and look to seek out working on special assignments and advisory projects where appropriate.As Corporate Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include among othersManaging portfolio of businesses including OMBs, SMEs and larger corporatesUndertaking corporate tax provisioning, compliance, and advisory work for your portfolioAdvising your clients on a variety of business tax matters (e.g. international tax matters, transactions, due diligence work, R&D, Employment tax)Provide exceptional client service and help manage and develop client relationshipsIdentify opportunities to cross-sell other services to existing clientsCounselling and develop junior staff through delegation and on the job trainingConducting appraisals/monitor staff performance including acting as a Line ManagerQualificationsQualifications and Experience Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA)Significant corporate tax experience gained within the profession and or industryTechnically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client workDemonstrable experience of managing people and clientsAppetite to develop business development skills to assist with the growth of the business Additional InformationAs a colleague here at S&W you will have access to benefits that includeCompetitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependent)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveFully funded training towards professional qualificationsCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanEye care supportWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
