Corporate Tax Senior Manager
Location: Birmingham Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Salary: Competitive + Benefits
We're partnering with a well-established Top 100 UK accountancy and business advisory firm that is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join its growing Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax professional seeking a senior leadership position within a firm that combines ambitious growth plans with a collaborative and supportive culture.
Working closely with Partners and Directors, you'll play a key role in managing client relationships, delivering complex advisory projects, developing the team, and supporting the continued growth of the tax function. The Role
As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you'll take responsibility for a significant portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses through to large corporate groups and international businesses.
You'll be involved in a broad range of tax advisory assignments while overseeing the delivery of high-quality compliance services and helping to shape the future direction of the department.

Key responsibilities Manage a substantial portfolio of corporate tax clients Review complex corporation tax returns, computations and group structures Lead the delivery of corporate tax advisory projects Act as a trusted adviser to clients on a range of tax matters Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships Support Partners and Directors with strategic client work Manage workflow, utilisation, WIP and billing processes Lead, mentor and develop members of the tax team Identify and pursue opportunities for additional services and new business Support tenders, proposals and fee negotiations Ensure clients remain informed of relevant legislative and regulatory developments
About you CTA qualified, ACA qualified or both Extensive Corporate Tax experience gained within accountancy practice Proven experience managing complex client portfolios Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax compliance and advisory work Experience managing and developing teams Commercially aware with strong business development skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Ambitious and motivated to contribute to the growth of the department
