Corporate Tax Manager / Assistant Manager
Corporate Tax Assistant Manager / Manager – Brighton, East Sussex
Our client in Brighton, East Sussex, is looking for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join their specialist tax team.
This role offers exposure to a diverse client portfolio, including:
- Large corporate groups
- International businesses
- Owner-managed companies
- Complex, high-risk clients
Key Responsibilities
- Provide corporate tax advisory support across a varied client base, including complex and high-risk matters.
- Review technical areas such as:
- R&D claims
- Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR)
- Capital allowances
- Group structures
- One-off transactions
- Conduct tax research and deliver practical recommendations on complex tax issues.
- Manage client relationships and oversee workflow delivery.
- Review corporate tax compliance work prepared by junior team members and provide coaching where required.

Candidate Profile
- CTA or ACA qualified, or a finalist with relevant experience.
- Approximately 4–6 years’ experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice environment.
- Experience in identifying tax risks and advising on complex client matters.
- Proven exposure to larger corporate and higher-risk clients.
- Familiarity with IRIS would be a **+**ve.
