Corporate Tax Manager
Corporate Tax Manager | Chatham – 4.5 Day Working Week
Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, TPF Recruitment, is excited to partner with a prestigious and long-standing accountancy practice based in Chatham. Renowned for delivering outstanding advisory services and cultivating a friendly, sociable working culture, our client is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager or Mixed Tax Manager to join their expanding team.
About the Role
Join a firm committed to business growth through exceptional corporate and individual tax advisory services. This current opportunity allows you to take the lead in corporate tax compliance while delivering expert guidance on critical tax matters, such as:
- Owner-managed business taxation
- Exit and succession planning
- Restructuring strategies
- Inheritance tax planning
You’ll also act as a key advisor to Partners on complex compliance work while collaborating closely with senior leadership to support their strategic objectives. The advert extends its scope to accommodate both full-time and part-time candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of advisory and compliance services
- Manage client portfolios and foster strong relationships
- Oversee advisory project budgets and ensure timely execution
- Collaborate with Partners and Associates on critical client engagements
- Maintain compliance with HMRC and professional institute guidelines
Requirements
Applicants must be:
- A CTA or ACA qualified professional with a strong track record in corporate tax advisory
- Adept in taxation strategy, possessing deep technical expertise honed either in professional practice or industry experience
- Experienced in mentoring and supervising staff
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, particularly in managing multiple concurrent projects
- Exhibit excellent communication skills for seamless interaction with clients and internal teams

Benefits & Structure
Offer details:
- Salary: £55,000–£65,000 (based on experience)
- Annual Leave: 25 days

Working Schedule:
A flexible 4.5-day week, adhering to:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:45–17:30
- Friday (ocassionally): 08:45–13:00
