Are you a Corporate Tax Manager looking for your next challenge?
At Old Mill, we’re searching for a driven, knowledgeable and experienced tax professional to join our growing Corporate Tax Advisory team. If you're CTA-qualified (or equivalent) with strong compliance and advisory expertise, this is your opportunity to step into a dynamic, client-facing and rewarding role.
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you'll take ownership of delivering complex corporation tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. You’ll oversee the compliance process, ensuring tax returns are prepared accurately and on time, while also identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting effective risk management strategies.
Beyond compliance, you’ll play a key role in advisory work, collaborating with clients to develop tailored tax solutions and helping businesses achieve their goals with expert guidance. As a leader in the team, you’ll also mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
