Corporate Tax Senior – Confidential Accountancy Firm
Location: Essex
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: £36,000 – £42,000
A well-established independent accountancy and advisory firm is looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior based in Essex to join its growing tax team. The firm has a strong reputation for supporting owner-managed and growing businesses, offering a collaborative environment focused on development and progression.
The Role
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in corporate tax compliance who is looking to build their advisory experience.
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, covering compliance and advisory work
- Supporting on structuring and tax planning for growing businesses
- Advising on R&D tax relief and capital allowances
- Assisting with HMRC enquiries and tax risk management
- Supporting corporate reorganisations and transaction work
- Advising on profit extraction strategies for business owners
- Maintaining a level of compliance work to support technical development

About You
- ACA or ATT qualified, with CTA completed or in progress
- Strong knowledge of corporation tax and associated reliefs
- Keen to move into more advisory-focused work
- Proactive, commercially aware, and motivated to develop
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical matters clearly
- Collaborative and team-oriented
