A leading global professional services firm is seeking an ambitious Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join its growing tax practice in Leeds. With a reputation for delivering market-leading tax, audit and advisory services, the firm works with a diverse portfolio of large corporates, international groups, privately owned businesses and private equity-backed organisations.
The Corporate Tax team is experiencing significant growth, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take on a highly visible leadership role. Supported by an experienced leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, develop future talent and play a key role in the continued expansion of the practice.
This role offers a clear pathway towards Director level and would suit either an established Senior Manager seeking greater leadership responsibility or an ambitious Manager ready for the next step in their career.
Your new role
As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex compliance and advisory projects while developing trusted relationships with a broad range of clients. You will work closely with Directors and Partners to support the growth of the practice and help clients navigate an increasingly complex tax landscape. Key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, becoming a trusted adviser on a wide range of corporate tax matters.
- Leading the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a varied client portfolio.
- Managing technically complex projects, including group restructurings, refinancing transactions, legal entity simplification, pre and post-deal reorganisations, tax authority enquiries and BEPS Pillar Two implementation.
- Providing specialist technical support across the wider tax team on complex corporate tax matters.
- Taking a leadership role in business development activities, identifying opportunities and supporting growth initiatives.
- Managing proposals, tenders and client pitches, helping to secure new business opportunities.
- Working collaboratively with specialists across the UK and international network on multinational assignments.
- Supporting the strategic development of the tax team, including resource planning and operational improvements.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members, helping to build the next generation of tax professionals.
- Acting as a role model by fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified tax professional with strong corporate tax technical expertise and proven experience of managing complex client relationships. You will ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Extensive corporate tax experience gained within a professional services environment.
- Experience of advising on complex tax matters, including international tax issues and large corporate projects.
- Knowledge of key tax developments such as BEPS Pillar Two, hybrid mismatch rules, restructurings and transaction-related tax advice.
- A proven track record of leading projects and delivering high-quality client service.
- Experience managing, mentoring and developing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice.
- The drive, ambition and leadership qualities required to progress towards Director level.
