A dynamic, growing Accountancy Firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join its growing tax team. The role suits an individual who thrives on managing compliance portfolios, delivering advisory work, supporting colleagues, and contributing to the improvement of internal processes. The Role

The Corporate Tax Senior Manager will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring the smooth delivery of both compliance and advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees the full corporate tax compliance process for a portfolio of clients.
  • Manages workflow, deadlines, project budgets, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Supports the delivery of advisory projects, including international tax matters and complex technical issues.
  • Undertakes technical research and presents findings clearly in written or verbal form.
  • Identifies opportunities to strengthen client relationships and supports wider business development activities.
  • Represents the organisation at networking or professional events as required.
  • Manages and develops junior team members, ensuring high standards of quality and effective delegation.
  • Promotes a culture of accountability, open feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Contributes to operational enhancements, including improvements to tax processes and technology solutions.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and proactively identifies risk areas.

Candidate Profile

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate

  • Professional qualifications such as CTA, ATT, CA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in coaching or managing junior colleagues.
  • Confidence using standard office tools; familiarity with tax software is advantageous.
