The Role

We seek a Corporate Solicitor with 4+ years of post-qualification experience in complex corporate law, specialising in technology and AI-focused transactions, to join us as a Consultant Partner. You will drive business development while managing existing client relationships.

This opportunity suits a self-motivated, client-focused lawyer who thrives in an results-driven and collaborative environment. Ideal candidates thrive in autonomy, seek flexible working, or want to minimise firm administrative constraints.


Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality legal advice, commercial risk analysis, and transactional drafting in technology and AI deals
  • Generate and manage new business through client development, referrals, and outreach
  • Build a ** scalable client base** aligned with the Königsley Wood model
  • Oversee ongoing client relationships with discretionary fees practices
  • Collaborate within a supportive partner network for operational and compliance guidance

Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years’ qualified experience (PQE) in corporate law, with specialisation in technology & AI law (contract negotiation, licenses, IP, data protection, governance)
  • Technical drafting & advocacy skills matched to fast-paced commercial transactions
  • Business development acumen – ability to create organic pipeline without reliance on recruiters
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – motivated to build and expand your own high-value practice
  • Past or prospective client following or a clear business plan to succeed in this model
