Corporates Credit Trader - Vice President
VP Trader in High Grade Credit Trading (Corporates) – EMEA
About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a VP Trader in High Grade Credit Trading (Corporates) to join our EMEA Credit Trading team. In this role, you’ll:
- Provide market liquidity
- Support client investment strategies
- Actively manage credit risk across the corporate bond landscape
- Drive revenue, strengthen client relationships and uphold governance & risk management standards
- Collaborate across the business to uncover new opportunities
- Develop and scale electronic trading in EMEA, applying credit and risk expertise to drive trading ideas & execution

Key Responsibilities
- Actively make markets in Corporate Credit Bonds, and manage associated trading books & risks
- Work closely with Credit Sales to support client flow and build strong relationships
- Develop and maintain -client connections to broaden the client base & deepen engagement
- Collaborate with other Wells Fargo businesses, including origination efforts
- Leverage electronic trading platforms to contribute to market development within EMEA Credit Trading
- Apply expertise in credit markets, electronic trading & risk management to deliver successful trade ideas & execution
- Stay current with Wells Fargo products, services & client needs to support strategic initiatives
- Contribute to Corporate credit analysis, financial modeling & management information (MI) reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal & regulatory standards, adhering to Wells Fargo’s risk & conduct framework

Required Qualifications
Must be fit and proper for a position subject to the FCA/PRA Certification Regime.
Experience sought can include a combination of:
- Demonstrated ability in Securities Trading (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly credit markets
- Experience in securities trading, including financial modeling & relative value analysis
- Proven track record of *building & maintaining client relationships
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Note: Certificate eligibility refers to Senior Management & other certified functions (2020 Senior Manager Law).

FCA/PRA: Certification Frequency
