Your Purpose
We’re seeking an experienced Corporation Tax Manager to oversee end-to-end compliance, reporting, and advisory work across the UK and Ireland, with responsibility for employment tax obligations.
This role combines technical tax expertise with business partnership skills, providing actionable guidance to stakeholders. You’ll ensure robust control environments, accurate reporting, and strong tax risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Corporation Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Lead the preparation, review, and submission of corporation tax returns and payments for UK & Ireland entities.
- Manage corporation tax provisions under US GAAP and FRS 102.
- Handle forecasting, transfer pricing documentation, and related filings.

Tax Advisory & Business Partnering
- Serve as the go-to tax specialist for corporation and employment tax matters.
- Offer clear, strategic advice on operational initiatives including:
- Cross-border transactions
- R&D projects
- Capital investments
- Pension funding
- New employee benefits
- Off-payroll working schemes
Employment Tax Compliance
- Oversee all employment tax obligations, including:
- Benefits in kind (BiK)
- Share scheme reporting
- Off-payroll working
- Taxed award schemes
Process Improvement
- Drive continuous operational efficiency in tax workflows.
- Collaborate with the Tax team, Finance, IT, and Shared Service Centre to enhance automation.
Regulatory Change & Compliance
- Monitor and interpret new tax legislation/regulatory updates.
- Assess secondary impacts on the business, communicate changes effectively, and ensure compliance while optimising tax positions.
About You
Required Skills & Experience
- Professional tax qualification (ACA, CAT, etc.)
- Membership of a reputable Chartered Institute (ICAEW, CTA, IAT)
- In-depth UK corporation tax knowledge, with experience in compliance, reporting, and advisory
- US GAAP experience is preferred
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisation, teamwork, and communication abilities
