Job Description: Regional Controller (Sales Planning & Financial Planning)
LOCATION: London
TEAM: EU Regional
REPORTING TO: Regional Brand Controller KPIs: Sales and Warehouse (WH) Planning Accuracy
About the Role
Your responsibility will be to lead sales budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for all online markets in the region, ensuring accurate and commercially aligned planning.
You will collaborate closely with Sales Teams, Merchandising, Marketing, and Expansion, providing critical support in planning and driving business growth.
- Advance meaningful discussions between commercial teams and finance, ensuring all plans align with growth objectives.
- Drive sales accuracy, volumetric and financial planning in alignment with the regional focus and overall business direction.
Responsibilities
Sales & Financial Planning
- Secure the sales plan by setting weekly and daily sales forecasts per market.
- Work with the E-commerce Controller to ensure the sales forecast is directly and accurately aligned with:
- Ongoing financial P&L planning
- Formal budgeting and forecasting processes
Performance Monitoring
- Drive region net sales by continuously comparing actual performance against targets to identify:
- Growth opportunities
- Areas requiring improvement
- Connect insights from sales, web, customer, and digital marketing investment data to guide commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with the E-commerce Controller to keep all plans aligned with key KPIs (growth, margin, stock turn etc.).

Reporting & Follow-Up
- Analyze data from sales, web, and customer sources to identify:
- Key trends
- Commercial opportunities
- Potential threats
- Use these insights to:
- Suggest and review commercial activities
- Evaluate the financial impact of customer offers
- Continuously improve strategy for long-term success
Warehouse Planning
- Embed logistics as a key focus to maximize sales and profit through efficient warehouse practices.
- Work with logistics partners to ensure the business retains cost-effective practices.
Data Management
- Maintain data consistency across critical systems, including:
- Anaplan
- Synapps
Requirements
Financial Acumen
Confidence in managing:
- Sales equations
- Forecasting
- Budgeting
- Financial planning

Commercial & Analytical Skills
Abilities to:
- Analyze key e-commerce KPIs: Traffic, conversions, Average Order Value (AOV), returns, digital marketing effectiveness.
- Translate data into actionable commercial strategies.
- Build custom reporting tools in Excel and Power BI to enhance insight and improve planning accuracy.
Strategic Mindset
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for:
- Sustainable growth
- Profitable expansion in online markets
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with diverse teams including:
- Warehouse Operations
- Merchandising
- Marketing
- E-commerce Operations

- Present complex financial and commercial data clearly to influence stakeholders and drive decisions.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, permanent role based in London with a requirement of 3 days per week office attendance.
