Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Cost Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in supporting business growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Korean language skills are highly desirable, as the role involves regular communication and collaboration with Korean-speaking stakeholders, colleagues, and parent company representatives.

Working closely with Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams, you will analyse and interpret financial and operational data, provide detailed cost analysis, and support the business in making informed commercial decisions. As a project-based business, you will also work closely with the Commercial team on new contracts and project costing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cost analysis for new and existing projects, including direct and indirect costs.
  • Support contract and project pricing by providing accurate financial analysis and cost information.
  • Contribute to profitability analysis by assessing product and project performance.
  • Analyse revenue streams and cost structures to evaluate overall financial health.
  • Provide meaningful financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Evaluate the financial implications of business, investment, and sales contract opportunities.
  • Assist the wider Finance team with technical accounting queries.
  • Analyse overheads and cost centre performance, including month-end reporting.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts, month-end journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support statutory reporting, group reporting, and internal audit requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance activities.
  • Produce management reports and financial analysis for senior leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
