Quotes Estimator - M&E Contracting
About the Company
Our client is a growing mechanical and electrical (M&E) contractor delivering premium residential, commercial and community projects. They pride themselves on quality workmanship, clear communication and a no-corners-cut approach.
The Role
They are seeking a Quotes Estimator to take ownership of the quoting process from start to finish, producing accurate, competitive and well-presented proposals that reflect the company's standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate M&E quotations for residential and commercial projects
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to define scope
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Use initiative to fill information gaps and ensure complete quotations
- Present quotes clearly for client review and track submissions and follow-ups
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment between quotes and delivery
- Maintain pricing databases and supplier contacts

Requirements
- Experience in estimating within M&E or construction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Confident communicating with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
- Good working knowledge of Excel or similar tools; familiarity with Xero or Monday.com is a bonus

Salary & Hours
£33,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Full-time, office-based role Northwest London
