Lab Fit is a specialist design-and-build contractor focused on laboratories, office and commercial workspaces. We're growing and looking for an estimator to join our core team and play a hands on role in delivering fast-paced, high-spec fit-out projects across the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of estimating on tenders and negotiated projects
- Manage the full project lifecycle: pre-construction planning, client liaison, subcontractor procurement, and on-site coordination
- Work closely with our design team to develop value-engineered solutions
- Ensure quality, cost, and programme targets are met
- Represent Lab Fit on site and in client meetings with professionalism and confidence

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years experience as an estimator, project manager, or contracts manager in fit-out or construction
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to price from drawings, specs, or client briefs
- Experience delivering technical or compliance-led projects (lab, cleanroom, healthcare, M&E-heavy etc. ideal)
- Able to lead multiple projects concurrently and make decisions in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- CAD would be an advantage
