Description

  • Prepare and analyse cost reports to provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various departments to monitor budgets and control expenditure.
  • Support month-end and year-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and update cost accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and present recommendations to management.
  • Assist in financial forecasting and planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Provide ad hoc financial reports and analysis as required.

Profile

A successful Cost Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in cost management and financial reporting within a relevant industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
