Our UK Engineering & Natural Resources (E&NR) team spans North, South (divided ~Nottingham line), and a UK-wide Performance Analytics Team. With 300+ professionals across cost/time/commercial management and project controls, we’re targeting strong revenue growth and are actively recruiting for roles supporting groundbreaking projects in:
- Nuclear delivery
- Renewables
- Battery storage
- Transmission & distribution
- Carbon Capture Storage
- Sustainable Aviation Fuels
Collaboration with our Infrastructure and Defence teams also presents opportunities.

Job Description: Professional – Natural Resources
Turner & Townsend seeks Professionals to join our expanding New Energy & Natural Resources segment and support high-profile commissions across key sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prove autonomy and excellence by:
- Taking ownership of performance and service quality, applying sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Planning efficiently, identifying value-add opportunities while knowing when to seek support versus act independently
- Collaborating effectively to deliver high-quality work—contributing to debates, embodying client needs, promoting constructive discussions
- Communicating professionally, resolving challenges with pragmatism and fostering productive collaboration
- Building trust through respect and empathy within the team and at large (while challenging disruptive behaviours constructively)
- Proactively driving skill/role growth by seeking feedback, mentoring others, and leveraging knowledge-sharing
Requirements:
Must-have qualifications and experience:
- Degree or equivalent (HNC/coalition standard)
- Hands-on experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts
- Cost or commercial management experience in:
- Energy: nuclear, renewables, transmission/D, low-carbon projects
- OR
- Infrastructure: water/rail/roads/aviation/utility clients
- Tackling major projects or portfolios (demonstrated capability)
- Preferred: Professional Chartership achievement
