Role Overview

RLB is expanding its Data Centre division and is seeking motivated Cost Managers with MEP/Mechanical & Electrical expertise for London-based roles. This sector represents the leading edge of technological innovation and sustainable development, with RLB growing rapidly in this space.

The Data Centre team delivers diverse projects including:

  • New builds
  • Fitouts
  • Refurbishments
  • Capacity upgrades

As demand accelerates, we’re seeking cost professionals to support projects both in London and across Europe, working closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful, cost-efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the successful delivery of data centre projects.
  • Perform pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and cost management.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to meet budgets and client expectations.
  • Develop client relationships and contribute to commercial strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with RLB’s commercial, procurement, and contractual processes.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Chartered/Professionally Qualified (e.g., MRICS or equivalent) or aiming toward qualification.

Experience

  • Prior experience in the data centre sector (preferable).
  • Knowledge of MEP service delivery and cost management within infrastructure projects.
