Role Overview
RLB is expanding its Data Centre division and is seeking motivated Cost Managers with MEP/Mechanical & Electrical expertise for London-based roles. This sector represents the leading edge of technological innovation and sustainable development, with RLB growing rapidly in this space.
The Data Centre team delivers diverse projects including:
- New builds
- Fitouts
- Refurbishments
- Capacity upgrades
As demand accelerates, we’re seeking cost professionals to support projects both in London and across Europe, working closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful, cost-efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the successful delivery of data centre projects.
- Perform pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and cost management.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to meet budgets and client expectations.
- Develop client relationships and contribute to commercial strategy.
- Ensure compliance with RLB’s commercial, procurement, and contractual processes.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Chartered/Professionally Qualified (e.g., MRICS or equivalent) or aiming toward qualification.
Experience
- Prior experience in the data centre sector (preferable).
- Knowledge of MEP service delivery and cost management within infrastructure projects.
