Costa Store Manager – Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days)
Lead a Busy Costa Store in a Dynamic Hospital Environment
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Costa Store Manager to take the lead at our store in Alder Hey Children's Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to run a well-known brand in a fast-paced, high-footfall setting where no two days are the same.
You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, positive environment for both customers and your team, delivering consistently great coffee and service while driving the store’s overall performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Costa store Leading, motivating, and developing your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences Ensuring smooth and efficient operations during busy service periods Managing stock, minimising waste, and maintaining strong cost controls Completing weekly admin, reporting, and operational tasks Acting as the key decision-maker on site, resolving issues proactively Maintaining a safe, compliant environment in line with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards Driving engagement and creating a positive team culture

What We’re Looking For
A passionate leader with a strong focus on customer service Experience managing or supervising in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment A confident decision-maker who uses initiative and remains calm under pressure Excellent communication and team leadership skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Reliable, flexible, and committed with a strong work ethic A proactive, “can-do” attitude and hands-on approach
