Costs Draftsman
Costs Draftsperson (Remote)
Location: Remote (UK) Salary: Competitive + Bonus (DOE)

Harkaye Core Talent is partnering with a highly regarded Costs Firm to recruit an experienced Costs Draftsperson for a fully remote opportunity. Enjoy:

Responsibilities
You will manage your own caseload and prepare high-quality costs documentation from instruction through to settlement:
- Preparing Bills of Costs
- Drafting Costs Budgets (Precedent H)
- Preparing Budget Discussion Reports
- Drafting Points of Dispute and Replies
- Negotiating costs settlements
- Advising fee earners on costs strategy
- Supporting Detailed Assessment proceedings as required

Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience as a Costs Draftsperson or Costs Lawyer
- Strong knowledge of CPR and Costs Practice Direction
- Experience preparing Bills of Costs and Costs Budgets
- Knowledge of Detailed Assessment procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

Desirable
- Experience in Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Group Litigation, or Commercial Litigation
- Advocacy experience (advantageous but not essential)
