Lenovo's Solutions Services Group (SSG) is driving the development of innovative digital solutions and technology services that help customers modernize their workplace, infrastructure and business operations.
We are seeking a commercially minded lawyer to join the New Services Development Legal team
Acting as product counsel for a portfolio of global offerings, you will partner closely with product managers, cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to support the development, launch and lifecycle management of services and solutions across Digital Workplace Solutions, AI and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure services.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of Lenovo's innovation agenda while helping the business navigate complex commercial, regulatory and technology-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Serve as legal counsel supporting the development and launch of Lenovo's global services and solutions offerings.
- Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to product, service and business teams throughout the product development process.
- Advise on commercial, regulatory and legal issues relating to technology services, software offerings, managed services and emerging technologies.
- Conduct horizon scanning for legal and regulatory developments relevant to Lenovo’s services portfolio and emerging technologies, and support implementation of regulatory requirements into product development, governance and launch processes.
- Train and enable contracting teams on new service offerings, templates and contracting positions to support consistent and efficient deal execution.
- Draft and review service terms and supporting commercial documentation.
- Coordinate legal reviews across global legal teams and subject matter experts, including privacy, open source compliance, export control and regulatory specialists.
- Develop scalable legal frameworks, templates and processes that enable efficient contracting and commercialization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house legal environment advising on technology and product-related legal matters.
- Ability to identify legal risks and provide pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including product, compliance and business teams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, digital workplace solutions, cloud services and technology-enabled business models.
- Interest in building simple and scalable business processes for product and service development.
