Counter Manager – Prestige Beauty Retail
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Counter Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of Sales Associates, driving sales, customer service, and operational targets.
As the Chief Executive Officer of your own store, this role offers total accountability for creating and executing an agile business plan, including:
- Recruiting and retaining customers through strategic targeting
- Organising impactful in-store events
- Delivering exceptional customer relationship management
- Leading a high-performing team

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:
- Coach and mentor Sales Associates to perform at their best
- Set and achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Foster a high-performing culture with respect, helpfulness, and cooperation

Business Strategy & Execution:
- Develop financial plans and manage resources effectively
- Execute strategic targeting and marketing initiatives
- Organise impactful in-store events to boost customer engagement

- Build and maintain exceptional customer relationships

Requirements

Experience & Knowledge
- Retail sales experience (preferably in beauty/cosmetics)
- Team leadership in customer-facing roles
- Strategic planning and execution in fast-paced environments
- Competency in traditional computerised retail systems (POS, Excel, email)
- Exposure to consumer insights, event management, CRM, and marketing basics
