ROTI KING LIMITED is a growing Malaysian street food restaurant company based in the United Kingdom, known for serving authentic and flavourful Malaysian cuisine. Role Description

This full-time on-site role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom and is responsible for managing daily operations at the restaurant counter under GOPAL'S CORNER brand. The Counter Restaurant Manager oversees customer service at the front of house, ensuring guests are greeted, served, and supported in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Leading the team, organizing work schedules, training team members and supporting hiring decisions
  • Guarding high-quality standards
  • Monitoring food and beverage presentation
  • Coordinating with the kitchen team
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Handling customer inquiries and feedback
  • Managing point-of-sale activities
  • Maintaining an efficient, clean, and welcoming counter environment

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and a focus on Customer Satisfaction.
  • Experience in people management, sales growth, and profit management.
  • Excellent Communication skills for interacting with guests, team, and management.
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including food safety, hygiene, and stock control.
  • Previous experience in restaurant, café, or quick-service management is required.
  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic administrative tasks.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
