Kinaxia Newcastle is looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team at our Gateshead site.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and supportive operation, playing a key role in the day-to-day success of the warehouse. You will be responsible for order picking, packing and sorting stock in preparation for loading, helping to ensure a smooth operation while maintaining high standards of customer service, accuracy and safety.
Role Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00
- Saturdays: 1 in 4 Saturdays required (Saturday allowance paid in addition to salary)
- Salary: TBC
- Flexibility: Required to support holiday cover as needed

About The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing all consignment paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to deliver a world-class service
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies relating to missing stock and dispatch issues to minimise customer complaints
- Carrying out daily and weekly safety checks on manual handling equipment and work areas, completing all relevant documentation and reporting findings to your Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards to ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe at all times
- Working safely and in full compliance with Health & Safety regulations to minimise the risk of accidents
- Supporting other departments when required to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business

- A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety procedures
- Experience using stock management software
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
