Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Nights

Job Description:
My client is currently looking for a night shift counterbalance forklift driver to join an established business on a temporary to permanent basis, based in Birtley. You must have an in-date in-house or external counterbalance forklift license to be considered for this position.

Package:
- Sunday to Thursday 22:00 until 06:00
- £17.57 per hour
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Responsibilities:
- Picking goods by using a counterbalance forklift
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the section that requires it
- Delivering finished goods to customer sites
- Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
