Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Nights
Temporary
My client is currently looking a night shift counterbalance forklift driver to join an established business on a temporary to permanent basis, based in Birtley. You must have an in date inhouse or external counterbalance forklift licence to be considered for this position.
Package -
- Sunday to Thursday 22:00 until 06:00 £17.57 per hour
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Responsibilities -
- Picking goods by using a counterbalance forklift
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the section that requires it
- Deliver finished goods to customer sites
- Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
