We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food wholesale supplier for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team.
This is a hands-on role that combines forklift operation with general warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied working day and is happy working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse.
- Preparing orders and stock for distribution.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties, including housekeeping and manual handling.
- Working within chilled and frozen storage areas as required.

Requirements
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments for periods of the shift.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: Start at 10:15am
- Friday: Start at 9:15am
- Finish times will vary depending on daily workload.
- Shift length roughly 8-10 hours, but could be longer.
- 45-minute unpaid break each shift.
