Our franchisees are independent business owners who have invested in their futures with Autosmart. Their success drives our success, which is why we're looking for an exceptional UK & Ireland Sales Manager to help strengthen, support and grow our franchise network.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you will lead a diverse team of Regional Business Managers and Sales Development Managers with the aim of supporting franchisees to succeed in their professional and personal goals whilst achieving Autosmart’s vision.

Through your management and coaching the Regional business managers will build, foster and embed a culture of trust, collaboration and performance with franchisees. Through our field-based showroom training programme, you'll gain first-hand experience of the Autosmart business before using that insight to coach, mentor and develop your team to deliver outstanding results.

Reporting to the UK & Ireland Managing Director, you'll spend significant time in the field, supporting Regional Business Managers and franchisees alike. You'll play a key role in driving sales overhead as a percentage of sales, expanding national and regional accounts, gathering valuable market intelligence, and contributing to the wider strategic direction of the business.

Just as importantly, you'll be a trusted partner to our franchise network, building strong relationships, championing their success, and acting as a vital link between franchisees and Autosmart HQ.

Please note: This role involves frequent travel across the UK and Ireland.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Completing a comprehensive field-based training programme in a mobile showroom
  • Nurturing and inspiring a large franchise network across the UK and Ireland
  • Driving sales growth across the UK and Ireland through strategic use of market data and insights
  • Setting, managing and delivering national and regional sales and overhead budgets
  • Establishing franchisee performance benchmarks and policies
  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Regional Business Managers to maximise performance
  • Creating and embedding clear, transparent sales processes and ways of working
  • Supporting franchisee recruitment and network growth
  • Presenting sales performance and business insights regularly at Board level

What You'll Bring

  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven B2B sales experience within a relevant sector such as construction, automotive, vehicle sales or similar
  • Ideally, experience working within a franchise environment
  • Experience managing and influencing diverse stakeholder groups
  • Adaptability, resilience and personal flexibility
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to think strategically and make complex decisions
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Self-motivation, drive and a positive, can-do attitude
