As Country Manager of Emerging Markets, you will be responsible for leading NAVEX’s commercial growth across a diverse portfolio of high potential markets spanning Southern and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa, Australia and Asia. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on executing our go-to-market strategy, building and developing a world-class sales team, and driving long-term growth through strategic planning and cross-functional influence in high growth markets.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver or surpass annual bookings targets in territory under management
  • Execute NAVEX’s current go-to-market strategy with precision and agility
  • Drive territory design optimisation, opportunity management, and pipeline inspection
  • Lead forward pipeline planning and proactive performance management at the territory level (e.g., coverage, conversion rates)
  • Play a hands-on role in strategic enterprise deals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
  • Travel as needed to customer locations to support closing the business
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier sales talent, fostering a high-performance culture, and cultivating a winning, collaborative, and supportive team environment
  • Provide ongoing coaching focused on deal execution and commercial behaviours
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for bookings and outcomes
  • Develop and execute strategies for new sales / cross-sell / up-sell revenue growth that extend beyond current-year targets
  • Identify and build partner channel strategies with long-term impact (12–18 months+)
  • Lead initiatives to expand into new verticals, segments or regions
  • Collaborate effectively across NAVEX’s global organisation, influencing key stakeholders in marketing, revenue operations, product, and more
  • Advocate for the regional business needs and secure support for multi-year strategic initiatives
  • Navigate internal structures to remove barriers and accelerate execution

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of relevant sales experience in the software industry and 5+ years of leading people
  • A proven track record of commercial leadership in a high-growth SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing sales teams
  • Strategic thinker with experience in long-term planning and market expansion
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • A deep understanding of the nuances of different regional markets, including partner ecosystems and cultural dynamics
  • Fluency in English required, other languages a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Culture Agility. Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through
  • AI Readiness. Curiosity and willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to elevate your work and deliver smarter outcomes
