Country Manager – TikTok LIVE (Emerging Markets)
About the Team
TikTok LIVE empowers content creators to build real-time connections with their audiences through interactive livestreaming. As this feature continues to thrive globally, our mission is to shape success in the livestreaming space through innovation, strategy, and operational excellence.
We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Country Manager to lead TikTok LIVE operations across emerging markets, scaling local campaigns and fostering growth in collaboration with global product and strategy teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead TikTok LIVE scaling efforts in key emerging markets, turning product vision and strategic direction into actionable business plans with measurable outcomes.
- Oversee the regional livestreaming business, including:
- Identifying, onboarding, and managing partnerships with local agencies, creators, and content providers.
- Developing targeted marketing strategies, including brand campaigns, educational programs, and industry event participation.
- Collaborate closely with top-tier creators to enhance audience engagement and retention, while contributing to revenue and monetisation strategies aligned with market trends.
- Assemble and mentor a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and impact.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content, partnerships, marketing, or business operations within tech, media, entertainment, or adjacent industries.
- 5+ years of leadership and team management experience, with a focus on 0 to 1 market launches.
- Deep understanding of emerging market dynamics, including nuanced consumer behaviour and competitive landscapes.
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to translate data insights into disruptive strategies.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
- Fluent in English (additional regional languages escalated to a plus).
Preferred Experience
- Prior success in launching and scaling initiatives from the ground up in emerging markets.
- Familiarity with local economic and financial factors granular enough to optimize decision-making.
- A track record of met Some clarity for government/industry relations navigating engagement considerations.
