Are you an experienced commercial and operational leader with a background in transport, logistics or supply chain? This is your opportunity to drive business growth, strengthen customer relationships and make a direct impact on the performance of our UK operations.
About The Role
As a Country Manager UK, you will cover:
- Full responsibility for the performance of the UK Business Unit.
- A balance between business development, P&L ownership, and operational leadership to deliver:
- Sustainable growth
- Operational excellence
- Outstanding customer service
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the UK Business Unit to drive commercial growth, profitability and operational performance.
- Develop new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Take ownership of:
- UK P&L, budgets, KPIs, and overall business performance
- Charter and carrier network, including negotiating transport capacity, rates, and supplier agreements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the UK team while collaborating with:
- Group Operations
- Planning
- Customer Service
- Commercial teams to continuously improve performance.

Requirements
Experience & Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience obtained through industry experience, with significant management experience in:
- Transport, logistics, or supply chain.
Key Skills:

Proven expertise in:
- P&L management
- Business development
- Commercial strategy
- Contract negotiations.

Strong knowledge of:
- Transport management
- Carrier management
- Transport procurement
- CRM
- ERP
- TMS (Transport Management Systems)
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel

Leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills proven in a high accountability role.

Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
