Position Summary The Country Manager has full accountability for the Company’s business performance within the assigned country, including revenue growth, market development, people leadership, and operational execution. This role acts as the senior commercial and operational leader in-country, responsible for translating regional and global strategy into effective local execution, while ensuring compliance with Company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards. The Country Manager leads and develops cross-functional teams, represents the Company with key external stakeholders, and builds a sustainable, high-performing organization capable of delivering long-term results. Key Responsibilities
Country & Business Leadership • Own and deliver the country business plan in line with regional and global strategy. • Accountable for achieving agreed revenue, and growth for the country. • Translate strategic priorities into clear commercial, operational, and people plans. • Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, pricing, and customer trends to inform decision-making. • Ensure effective resource allocation across functions to maximize business impact. • Work in close partnership with the Country Service Manager to ensure an integrated commercial and service approach, aligning sales growth, customer commitments, installation capacity, and after sales support to deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience. • Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day prioritization of key in-country functions, including Marketing, Operations, and the Clinical Applications team.
Commercial & Market Development • Drive sales performance across all relevant channels (direct sales, distributors, partners, Group Purchasing Organisations (GPOs)). • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers, distributors, key opinion leaders, and strategic partners. • Ensure excellence in customer experience, service quality, and reputation in the local market. • Oversee pricing, contracting, and commercial governance in line with Company policies. • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete maintenance of sales data, pipeline, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce, enabling reliable forecasting, performance tracking, and informed decision-making. • Identify and execute opportunities for market expansion, portfolio growth, and new business development. • Lead the development and management of strategic relationships with national and regional GPOs to secure market access, optimize contracting opportunities, and support revenue growth. • Define and optimize territory structures and allocate sales quotas to ensure balanced market coverage and achievement of national revenue targets. Manage the local marketing budget and oversee the allocation and utilization of demo units to support commercial activities and customer engagement.

People Leadership & Organization Development • Lead, coach, and develop the country leadership team and broader organization. • Own talent management activities, including hiring, onboarding, development, succession planning, and performance management. • Build a strong talent pipeline through effective onboarding, succession planning, and ongoing talent assessment. • Lead by example in championing our North Star guiding principles and behaviours, fostering a culture where our patients are always the priority. Model exceptional teamwork, agility, accountability, and respect—create an environment where collaboration flourishes and continuous improvement is actively encouraged and expected.
Operational Excellence & Governance • Ensure the country operates in full compliance with Company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. • Build and sustain a strong compliance culture across all functions. • Partner effectively with regional and global functions (Finance, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Legal). • Ensure robust forecasting, reporting, and data quality to support decision-making. • Manage country budgets and expenses within approved parameters. • Ensures all direct reports are familiar with, trained on, and comply with Quality System procedures relevant to their roles and impacting product or service quality. Ensures all changes to procedures are reviewed, approved, and validated prior to implementation.

External Representation & Stakeholder Management • Act as the primary representative of the Company in the country. • Maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders such as regulators, industry bodies, and professional associations, where applicable. • Represent the Company professionally and credibly in the local market. Education • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. • The role requires a level of commercial, financial, and organizational understanding typically gained through a combination of formal education and significant leadership experience in complex, matrixed organizations. Experience • Significant leadership experience in a commercial or general management role, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, or a regulated industry. • Proven track record of delivering sustainable business growth at country or multi-market level. • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading managers and cross-functional teams. • Experience operating in complex, matrixed international organizations. Skills & Competencies • Strong commercial and financial acumen. • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at operational level. • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills. • High level of integrity, resilience, and adaptability. • Strong understanding of compliance and governance in regulated environments. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is designated as remote. Candidates located near one of our office locations may work in a hybrid arrangement, combining remote work with in-office presence as appropriate.
