About The Job

To assist the Countryside Team with the delivery of three programmes of work across a number of countryside sites within the borough, with a primary focus on park maintenance doing a late shift and locking up in line with Bedfont Lakes Country Park changing closing times across the seasons.

Lampton Services Greenspace are responsible for the management of all of Hounslow’s parks and open spaces, and the Countryside team specifically maintain the Borough’s local wildlife sites, nature reserves and sites of metropolitan importance. The maintenance team are tasked with maintaining these sites to a high standard, ensuring hedges are cut back; grass is cut; pathways are cleared of debris and litter, and that bins are emptied regularly to ensure the spaces are kept clean and tidy. We have 3 key sites which are visited daily, and others which are visited weekly, and all sites are cut on a 3 weekly rotation during Spring and Summer to ensure they are kept accessible for all, whilst also conserving the Borough’s thriving wildlife and with a view to increase biodiversity. The late shift/lock up role then involves the systematic checking and locking up of Bedfont Lakes Country Park South Side, Bedfont Road and Clockhouse Lane, including the animal centre and yard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
