Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of Couriers. At FedEx, we connect over 220 countries and territories with a focus on providing outstanding customer experiences. Position Start Date: 1 July 2026 Closing Date: 30 August 2026 Scheme: Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay: £15.01 per hour with premia for night shifts (7pm–10pm & 10pm–6am)
About the Role
We are seeking motivated, reliable individuals to drive our Commitment to the Purple Promise—that the FedEx experience is outstanding. In this role, you will:
- Represent FedEx professionally, ensuring courteous and efficient package pickup and delivery to customers
- Drive predefined routes in FedEx vehicles, ensuring timely, safe, and accurate deliveries
- Maintain vehicle safety and adherence to company policies, including FedEx Health and Safety protocols
What You Will Be Doing
Your role as a Courier includes:
- Picking up and delivering packages with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Operating a FedEx-fleet vehicle along assigned routes within various postcodes
- Ensuring packages are safely and correctly delivered on time
- Complying with all FedEx safety policies and operating standards
- Maintaining vehicles in full operational condition

Who We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will bring the following attributes and experience:
- Reliability as a team player with a robust work ethic
- Enthusiasm for people and service, with a strong customer focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A detail-oriented approach to ensure paperwork and deliveries are flawless
- Holding a valid UK driving licence is essential; 2+ years of holding it will be beneficial
- Adaptability to varied driving conditions and schedules
- Commercial driving experience is advantageous but not always required
