Courier Driver – Permanent/Full Time (NW10, Northwest London)
About the Role
We are seeking excited and reliable Courier Drivers to join our team across Northwest London (NW10). The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring the safe, timely, and secure movement of medical samples, consumables, and medical information to support critical healthcare services.
The ideal candidate will:
- excel in customer, colleague, and stakeholder communication to maintain standards.
- perform electronic and paper-based record-keeping to ensure tasks and deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- drive small to medium-sized vans (requirements: UK full Category B (Manual/Automatic) driving licence, held for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 penalty points).
- handle manual lifting/heavy objects as part of daily duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned routes and transport courier goods in line with set schedule and legislation.
- Maintain digital & manual records of collections, deliveries, and conditions (signing off as compliant).
- Ensure safe handling, security, and documentation of all items to strict standards.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and complete pre-trip vehicle checks, reporting defects.
- Provide courteous service at delivery/collection points and relay information to the Operations Office.
- Use technologies such as PDAs (training provided) and other communication/compliance systems.

Requirements
- Full UK Manual/Automatic driving licence (Category B) with 12 months minimum experience and no more than 6 penalty points.
- Excellent route planning, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience driving in Northwest London areas (familiarity an advantage).
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
- Clear and legible handwriting required.
