Court of Protection Senior Associate – Lancashire
Up to £90,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A highly regarded Top Tier Legal 500 firm is seeking a Court of Protection Senior Associate in Lancashire to join its growing and well-established team.
As a Court of Protection Senior Associate in Lancashire, you’ll play a key role in leading and developing the department, handling complex property and affairs matters for a high-quality client base.
This opportunity offers strong progression, leadership responsibility, and high-value work within a respected national practice.
The Role
- Managing complex Court of Protection property and affairs matters
- Handling high-value deputyships and ongoing client management
- Advising on personal injury trusts and associated matters
- Supporting applications for statutory wills and gifts
- Working closely with clients, families, and professionals
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Supporting the growth and development of the department
- Delivering high standards of client care

The Candidate
- 6+ PQE Court of Protection solicitor or legal executive
- Strong experience across complex and high-value COP matters
- Experience with deputyships and property and affairs work
- Litigation experience desirable but not essential
- Experience with PI trusts, statutory wills, or gifts advantageous
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Clients-focused with strong interpersonal skills
