Court of Protection Solicitor, 1+ PQE

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded Legal 500 national law firm based in Sheffield, as part of their expanding Private Client team.
We are seeking a Solicitor with 1+ PQE and experience in Private Client law, with candidates who have a particular interest or passion for Court of Protection, property and affairs work encouraged to apply. Applications will also be considered from individuals with a broader general Private Client background who are looking to develop their expertise within this specialist area.

The role:
- You will manage a varied caseload of high-value and complex Court of Protection property and affairs matters, including:
- Deputyship applications and ongoing deputyship matters
- Property and financial affairs work
- Trust and statutory will applications
- Complex client matters involving vulnerable individuals
Alongside your fee-earning responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to support the wider team through mentoring, coaching, and contributing to the continued growth and development of the department.
The team:
- Join a highly respected national Private Client team of around 50 lawyers
- Work closely with an experienced Partner specialising in Court of Protection property and affairs matters
- Gain exposure to complex and high-quality work
- Be part of a collaborative team with a strong focus on development and progression

What’s on offer:
- Competitive salary of £51,000–£65,000 + bonus (depending on experience)
- Hybrid working, with attendance in the Sheffield office required approximately 2–3 times per month
