Location: Attleborough Academy Norfolk
Salary: SCALE 7:11 A GBP 19,940 TO A GBP 21,631 PRO:RATA SALARY
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part Time (Term:time plus 1 week)
With effect from September 2026, we are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join the Academy's Student Support Team. The Student Support Team is a very close-knit and effective group of individuals who provide high-quality and personalised care and support in the belief that this is key to student success and enjoyment during their time at the Academy.
Attleborough Academy is a popular, 11 to 18 Academy which is continually developing to meet the demands of providing the highest quality education for all students. Attleborough as a town is poised for major expansion and the Academy is the chosen secondary to have facilities developed as part of the Masterplan. Extensive building and development work is taking place in areas including our sports facilities, science facilities and Sixth Form.
General Responsibilities
The Cover Supervisor is responsible to the Cover Manager. Cover Supervisors supervise lessons during the short-term absence of teachers and may be asked to undertake some administrative tasks in departments. Some specialist knowledge in a particular area of the curriculum would be advantageous for this post but is not a requirement.

Specific Responsibilities

- Supervise students while they are engaged in learning activities and deal with immediate problems and emergencies;
