About This Role

About this Role

  • Hours of work: 32 hours per week
  • Term weeks: 38 + 1 weeks school closure, minimum paid week 44.6

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in education? The Whitehaven Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our friendly team.

About The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during short-term teacher absence.
  • Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Provide support across a range of subjects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to contribute to their success.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Confidence and flexibility to work across different subjects.
  • Previous experience in education or working with young people is desirable but not essential.
