Key Responsibilities
- Supervise entire classes during short-term teacher absences, maintaining pupil engagement in learning.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities across multiple year groups.
- Foster a calm, positive, and purposeful classroom environment where children feel supported and motivated.
- Enforce behaviour management in line with school policies and expectations.
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil engagement, progress, and any concerns observed during supervision.
- Contribute to the wider school community as part of a team of enthusiastic educators.

Requirements & Qualities
- Proven experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapid, trusting relationships with both staff and pupils.
- Confidence in leading groups of children, adapting quickly to different classrooms and shifting priorities.
- High standards for behaviour, learning outcomes, and achievement.
- Organisation, resilience, and flexibility—able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
