Role: Cover Supervisor
Rate of pay: £110 - £130 per day
Location: Dudley
About the role
We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to join the Secondary Phase of a dynamic and inclusive Academy in Dudley. The school is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who can provide short-term classroom cover, with longer-term opportunities available for those able to commit to extended placements. As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Role Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children within a secondary school is essential
- Degree in education or equivalent qualification
- A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
- Strong communication skills, both with pupils and staff
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education, is required)
