Job Title
As a cover supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring that students have a high-quality learning experience when their usual teacher is away from school.
You will manage classroom behaviour to ensure pupils stay on task and facilitate the activities that have been designed by teaching staff to ensure that students complete the work in an effective learning environment.

This role offers you the chance to step in and lead lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, primarily for KS3 and KS4 students, with occasional work at KS5. You’ll also have the opportunity to make a broader contribution across the Academy.
This is a permanent role starting from 1 September 2026 until 31 August 2027, working for 13 hours per week, term time only.

We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
You Will
- Supervise the students in KS3, KS4 and occasional KS5, working on pre-set learning activities in the absence of a teacher.
- Be caring and supportive and committed to achieving excellent results.

- Have a belief that every young person, whatever their starting point or circumstances, can achieve exceptional things.
- Promote the well-being of our student’s providing guidance and support and be able to inspire learning and progress.

- Be tenacious and well organised with good time management.
