Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced Plant & Vehicle Marshaller for a long-term infrastructure project in Rossendale, Greater Manchester (BB4).
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering contractors, working on a major highways project.
As the role involves working on the public highway, LANTRA Traffic Management training is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely marshal plant machinery and site vehicles operating on and around the public highway
- Direct and control vehicle movements to ensure the safety of operatives, pedestrians, and members of the public
- Maintain safe segregation between plant, vehicles, and pedestrians
- Communicate effectively with plant operators, delivery drivers, and site management
- Monitor site access points and traffic management routes
- Coordinate deliveries and vehicle movements to minimise disruption
- Carry out visual safety checks and report any hazards or unsafe practices
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with site health & safety procedures and highway regulations

Requirements:
To Be Considered For This Role, You Must Have
- Valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Logo) Plant & Vehicle Marshal qualification
- LANTRA Traffic Management qualification – Essential
- Previous experience working as a Plant & Vehicle Marshaller on busy construction or civil engineering projects
- Experience working on the public highway is highly desirable
- Good understanding of construction site safety procedures and traffic management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full PPE
- An up-to-date CV
