CPG Sales Director
Position Overview
Seeking a Food Service Sales Representative, ideally located in Dallas, TX, though relocation support is available for highly qualified candidates. This individual will play an essential role in expanding the company's foodservice presence and driving immediate impact. A key requirement for this position is an established, active book of business within the foodservice (meat & protein) channel. The ideal candidate has long-standing relationships across distributors, brokers, and operator accounts and can leverage those partnerships to accelerate growth. This role suits a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional who excels in dynamic environments and brings a blend of strategic insight, relationship-building strength, and a track record of tangible results.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage an existing book of business in the meat/poultry industry to drive immediate revenue growth and expand the company's footprint across the foodservice channel. Develop and execute sales strategies that increase product penetration across key distributors, regional operators, and multi-unit accounts. Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across smoked proteins, cooked meats, marinated offerings, and other value-added categories. Maintain and strengthen existing relationships through continuous communication, proactive support, and performance tracking. Collaborate with internal operations, marketing, and R&D teams to deliver customized solutions tailored to customer needs. Monitor pricing trends, category dynamics, and competitor activity to inform strategy and positioning. Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and documentation to support internal planning and customer alignment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
