A well-regarded care provider in the Birmingham area is on the hunt for a Registered Manager who can lead from the front. This is a service with strong foundations and a loyal staff group already in place - what they need now is someone who'll bring energy, structure and genuine care leadership to keep raising the bar.

The Role Itself

You'll be the person accountable for how the service runs, day in and day out. That covers:

  • Holding overall responsibility for compliance, quality, and the general running of the service.
  • Leading, coaching and developing the team so they consistently deliver strong, person-centred care.
  • Making sure care plans are meaningful and specific to each individual, not generic paperwork.
  • Handling recruitment, induction, supervision and staff appraisals.
  • Running the audit and quality assurance process, and reporting clearly to the wider organisation.
  • Being the main point of contact for families, commissioners and other professionals involved in someone's care.
  • Owning safeguarding practice and making sure the whole team takes it seriously.
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with other managers in the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
