We are one of Southampton's top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies and have provided homes and businesses throughout The Hamptons with quality craftsmanship for all of their handyman needs. We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional Craftsman with skills in multiple trades.

The Ideal Craftsman Candidate
The ideal Craftsman candidate will possess a good overall knowledge of all trades:
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Tile
- Minor Plumbing/Electrical
Proper Equipment
Additional Qualifications for this Craftsman Role:
- Not necessarily having every tool, but knowing what tools are needed for certain tasks.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Must be a quick thinker, able to examine issues and resolve them in a prompt and professional manner.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with Management, Office Personnel, Fellow Employees, Homeowners, Suppliers, Property Managers, and Commercial Customers.
- Be Presentable: Clean-Cut appearance, Decent looking vehicle, Organized tools.
- Other: Look around the property and communicate to the customer things you could repair or things that our company can handle. Take the time to earn the customer’s confidence and then inquire about additional work that could be performed. Sometimes, we take the time to fix something small and then point it out to the customer to help them understand that we are capable of doing more. Someone who is punctual and efficient maintains the highest integrity and strives for top customer satisfaction. Enjoys being an integral part of a winning team. Demonstrates ability and willingness to EXCEED Customers' expectations.

Compensation
$35.00 per hour
The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.
Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name. Ace Handyman Services is a franchise network of Independently Owned and Operated Franchises. Your application will go directly to the franchise owner, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of that franchise. Ace Handyman Services Craftsmen are empowered and given much more flexibility than others in our industry. For example, they are in charge of their own job sites, and given the freedom to interact directly with Homeowners and Property Managers to suggest work that will improve safety, preserve their largest investment, and truly help them to love their homes and commercial buildings.
Ace Handyman Services’ work itself is often indoors in temperature-controlled environments, and is primarily of lighter-duty than new construction projects. There are Franchise Owners and Office Managers to assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative side of the business allowing our Craftsmen to focus on the tasks at-hand and provide our customers with professional services that delight our customers. Our Franchise Owners are successful, business-savvy individuals, who are ethical and treat their Staff like Family. The safety and well-being of TEAM members is a top priority. Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
