Craftsman Position – Handyman, Repair & Remodeling Specialist
About the Role
Ace Handyman Services is Lehigh Valley’s top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling company, offering quality craftsmanship to homes and businesses in the Northeast Pennsylvania (Ne Pa) area. We are seeking a skilled, independent-thinking Craftsman with expertise across multiple trades to join our professional team.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Provide high-quality craftsmanship in core trades such as:
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Tile installation
- Electrical work
- Proactively assess properties and offer clients additional service recommendations (e.g., missing repairs, upgrades)
- Earn customer trust and secure repeat/customer referrals through professionalism and reliability
- Work independently at job sites while adhering to standards set by management
- Maintain a clean-cut appearance, presentable vehicle, and organized tools
Key Accountabilities
- Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve issues with prompt, professional solutions
- Communication: Effectively interface with:
- Management & office personnel
- Fellow employees
- Homeowners & commercial customers
- Suppliers & property managers
- Proactive Service: Spot additional repair or improvement opportunities and present them to clients
- Delivery of Exceptional Service: Consistently exceed customer expectations through punctuality and efficiency

Requirements
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Proven expertise in plumbing, carpentry, tile, and electrical trades (business or technical training preferred)
- Self-directed problem-solving with a quick-thinking mindset
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence
- Well-organised work processes (equipment, scheduling, job site prep)
Tools & Work Ethics
- Understands tool requirements for different tasks (doesn’t necessarily need every tool but knows their function)
- Maintains professional appearance (clean-cut, tidy vehicle, organised tools)
- Adaptable & reliable—punctual, efficient, and driven by integrity
- Safety-conscious—follows recommended protocols for well-being

- Competitive pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
