Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced and commercially focused Crane Sales Manager to join our growing team!
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technical sales professional to take responsibility for a key territory across the North of the UK and Scotland, developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored equipment solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively develop and manage direct customer accounts to achieve agreed sales targets and deliver strategic objectives.
- Support the Sales Department in processing enquiries, preparing proposals, and converting successful projects into confirmed orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline proactively, maximising conversion of opportunities and contributing to wider business targets and strategic priorities.
- Provide technical support and advice to ensure clients fully understand the equipment and services available and that proposed solutions meet operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate electronic activity records within the CRM system to ensure visibility of client activity and sales progress.

Qualifications
You'll have:
- A proven experience in a technical sales role, with exposure to key account management and project management.
- Ideally educated to degree level, or holding at least an HND in a relevant technical discipline; equivalent market knowledge gained through technical sales experience will also be considered.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, supported by strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple clients and projects effectively.
- A well-organised approach, with the ability to interpret information from a range of sources and draw relevant commercial insights.
- The ability to translate client requirements into practical project solutions while consistently meeting expectations.
- A self-motivated, independent, and results-focused approach to work.
- A willingness to travel throughout North England and Scotland.
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
